LAYOUT

Nine sections each showcase an iconic Polar Skate Co deck shape designed by Pontus Alv. Each section contains two spreads with a blank page to the left and two decks to the right, four spreads with two decks on each page, and one spread with two large decks in landscape orientation. An Index page at the front shows a side-by-side comparison of each shape.

PAPER

Our Notebooks are made with off-white, acid-free paper with a smooth uncoated surface. Suitable for sketching to note-taking, using a variety of materials from fountain pens to pencils, at 130 gsm, it resists bleeding and feathering.

BINDING

Our books are section sewn and glued by hand using water-based PVA. We leave our binding exposed as this technique provides maximum flexibility, allowing the book to open completely flat on every single page.
